The 2014 Indie Memphis Film Festival hosted a series of speakers and panels entitled “Indie Talks”. One of the most popular speakers was writer / storyboard artist Kent Osborne.
You may also know Osborne from Joe Swanberg’s Uncle Kent. The film has an unusual sequel, Uncle Kent 2 directed by Todd Rohal, premiering this year at the 2015 SXSW film festival.

Kent Osborne travels to a comic book convention in San Diego where he loses his mind and confronts the end of the world. Reuniting in the GREMLINS 2 of “Indie” sequels, Joe Swanberg, Jennifer Prediger and Tipper Newton return in a surrealist look into Osborne’s madness.
